The course tops out at 830 m (low point 34 m). There are 3 big climbs: 393 m around 0–6 km; 327 m around 14–17 km; 796 m around 22–30 km. The longest descent drops 668 m around 30 km at about 13% on average. Only about 30% is gentle (under 5% grade); most of it is climbing or descending.
