The 20 km category of the Mifune Jurassic Trail, starting and finishing at Midori-no-Mura on the Yoshimuta plateau in Mifune, Kumamoto, a town known for its dinosaur fossils. An out-and-back to Jizo Pass that is almost all trail, finishing on a mountain-bike course. 500 places.
The course tops out at 1,227 m (low point 602 m). The main climb comes right from the start: 589 m around 0–10 km. About 40% of the distance is gentle (under 5% grade).
