The ~28 km course (about 1,750 m D+) of the Mt. Rokko Trail Run Summer Picnic, looping the trails of Mt. Rokko in summer from the Kobe Municipal Arboretum, with six aid stations. 400 places across the 28 km and 10 km courses. There are no placing awards; finishers receive a time certificate.

The course

The course tops out at 800 m (low point 237 m). The main climb comes early on: 562 m around 6–14 km. Only about 30% is gentle (under 5% grade); most of it is climbing or descending.
