Stage Race Sanriku SRS200 2027
Also known as: SRS311
A one-way stage race of about 200 km over four days and three nights along the ria coast of Sanriku, from Jodogahama in Miyako, Iwate, through Yamada, Otsuchi, Kamaishi, Ofunato and Rikuzentakata to the inner harbour of Kesennuma, Miyagi. It combines road running, trail running and orienteering: runners visit set checkpoints in order, and about 70% of the route is paved. The ranking is the total time of each day's timed sections. It is the third edition of an event that celebrates the recovery from the 2011 earthquake and tsunami, building toward a 311 km "Stage Race Sanriku 311".
