The course tops out at 902 m (low point 66 m). There are 3 big climbs: 805 m around 3–7 km; 693 m around 13–18 km; 660 m around 25–29 km. The longest descent drops 836 m around 7 km at about 16% on average. Only about 30% is gentle (under 5% grade); most of it is climbing or descending.
