Yama no Ensoukai 100mile 2026
Also known as: Yamanoensoukai · Mizukami
A 100-miler run as 80 laps of a 2 km paved loop at Mizukami Sky Village, about 1,000 m up in Mizukami village, Kumamoto. Each lap has about 60 m of elevation change and brings you back to the base camp. All categories start together at 10:00 on Saturday; the limit is 30 hours (16:00 Sunday). No poles, no pacers. Timed meals such as shaved ice and curry are part of the event.
The course tops out at 452 m (low point 405 m). About 100% of the distance is gentle (under 5% grade), so there is a lot of running.
