Jungle Guruguru MAX 2026
Also known as: JGM 40km
The one-lap category of a lap-based endurance race in the satoyama hills of Oku-Musashi. From 2026 it starts and finishes at New Sunpia Saitama Ogose on a new course, and runners complete one roughly 43km loop linking Kanhasshu Miharashidai, Takayama Fudo and Kaburi Pass. There are no course marshals, so self-navigation is expected.
The course tops out at 808 m (low point 85 m). The main climb comes early on: 501 m around 11–17 km. Only about 30% is gentle (under 5% grade); most of it is climbing or descending.
