The roughly 29 km middle course starts at Donden Sanso (about 880 m), runs the ridge of the Osado mountains on the Kinpoku traverse, then makes the long descent of the Kamiyokoyama trail and follows the Kuninaka-kitasen road, canals and rice paddies to the finish at Aiport Sado in Ryotsu. 2026 is the first edition.
The course tops out at 1,142 m (low point 0 m). The longest descent drops 1,036 m around 9 km at about 17% on average. About 40% of the distance is gentle (under 5% grade).
