A full loop of Lac du Bourget in Savoie, France's largest natural lake, from Le Bourget-du-Lac. It starts by headlamp along the shore, takes in the Chambotte viewpoint and ridge paths, and late in the race passes beneath the Dent du Chat. About 70% of the course is singletrack.
The course tops out at 1,494 m (low point 231 m). There are 3 big climbs: 479 m around 0–16 km; 443 m around 47–52 km; 880 m around 57–65 km. The longest descent drops 1,258 m around 65 km at about 15% on average. About 40% of the distance is gentle (under 5% grade). In 2025, 89% of starters finished. The median finish was about 12 h.
