Jungle Guruguru MAX 2026
Also known as: JGM 80km
The two-lap category of a lap-based endurance race in the satoyama hills of Oku-Musashi; it starts at noon and runs through the night. From 2026 it starts and finishes at New Sunpia Saitama Ogose on a new course, and runners complete two laps of a roughly 43km loop linking Kanhasshu Miharashidai, Takayama Fudo and Kaburi Pass. There are no course marshals, so self-navigation is expected.
The course tops out at 807 m (low point 85 m). There are 2 big climbs: 696 m around 0–17 km; 500 m around 65–70 km. About 30% of the distance is gentle (under 5% grade).
