KIRISHIMA EBINO SHORT 2026
The short course is set in Kirishima's national park area. It runs one way from the Hizoe forest road entrance to the Kurinodake Recreation Village, linking forest roads and mountain trails with views of the volcanic Kirishima Geopark. Poles are banned to protect the vegetation.
The course tops out at 1,199 m (low point 687 m). The main climb comes late in the race: 445 m around 25–34 km. Only about 30% is gentle (under 5% grade); most of it is climbing or descending. The median finish was about 6 h.
