A trail race on Sado Island first held in 2026. The roughly 49 km long course leaves Aiport Sado near Ryotsu port, follows the coast road, climbs steeply from the Shirase trailhead to Mt. Kongo and passes Donden Sanso before running the ridge of the Osado mountains at about 1,000 m on the Kinpoku traverse. It then drops down the Kamiyokoyama trail to the Kuninaka-kitasen road and returns to the venue along canals and through rice paddies.
The course tops out at 1,143 m (low point 0 m). There are 2 big climbs: 966 m around 0–14 km; 375 m around 22–29 km. The longest descent drops 1,037 m around 29 km at about 18% on average. About 40% of the distance is gentle (under 5% grade).
